This policy explains how VARIA HOLDING SRL processes personal data submitted through this website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Romanian law.

What data we collect

  • Contact form: name, company, email address, phone number, request type and message content.
  • Technical data: IP address and browser information, kept temporarily in server logs for security and abuse prevention.

Purpose and legal basis

We use form data solely to respond to your request and, where relevant, to send you a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.

How long we keep data

Messages received through the form are kept for up to 2 years after the last correspondence, unless they become part of a contractual relationship, in which case statutory retention periods apply. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent personal data. It may only be accessed by the providers of our website hosting and email services, acting as processors under contracts that guarantee confidentiality and security.

Cookies and third-party services

This website does not use analytics or marketing cookies. The Google map on the contact page loads only if you click “Load map”; from that point Google’s privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection. To exercise them, email us at office@variaholding.ro. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP ( www.dataprotection.ro).
