Gas safety inspections

Mandatory inspections every 2 years and full technical reviews every 10 years for natural gas installations, with paperwork filed with the distribution operator.

Under Romanian regulations, natural gas installations must be inspected at least every 2 years and fully reviewed at least every 10 years. The distribution operator can cut the supply to non-compliant installations. Our dedicated department handles the whole process, from scheduling to filing the records.

We work with owners’ associations, companies, public institutions and homeowners. For apartment blocks we schedule inspections after 5 pm so most residents are at home, and payment is due only once you receive the paperwork registered with the operator.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How often must a gas installation be inspected?

A periodic inspection is required at least every 2 years and a full technical review at least every 10 years. A review is also mandatory after the installation has been out of use for more than 6 months, or after any event that may have affected it.

What is the difference between an inspection and a review?

An inspection checks tightness and correct operation at working pressure. A review includes everything in an inspection, plus a tightness test of the whole installation and a strength test of any replaced or modified sections.

Who pays for repairing defects that are found?

Repairing the installation is the owner’s responsibility and may only be done by an ANRE-authorised contractor. We always send a quote before any additional work.

How do I book an inspection?

Call our dedicated line on +40 749 238 833 or send us a message from the contact page. For owners’ associations we agree on a date together and post the notice for residents.
